JavaScript Full Stack Developer

Mid to Senior Level; Full-time, Contract-to-hire, or Contract

Can be remote, with preferred locale of Denver, CO Position Description

We are looking for a highly motivated and experienced JavaScript Full Stack Developer to join our growing team. You will be responsible for building scalable Enterprise Web Applications & Services for multiple platforms, including Cloud-based SaaS/PaaS Product Engineering and Cloud- Native Application Development.

Your primary focus will be to implement end-to-end user experiences for mobile and desktop web apps, with a focus on performance and reusable, testable code. You will also be responsible developing back-end interfaces (API’s, Database Design, Machine Learning integrations). Your main duties will include working with our preferred stack of Javascript and NodeJS. You will collaborate with our UX/UI Designers and Sr. Architects on design, yet take the lead on implementation, and detailed design elements, including animations, CSS, and final HTML output. A thorough understanding of all of the components of our platform and infrastructure is required.

Requirements

  • 4+ experience developing with JavaScript and related technologies
  • Writing tested, idiomatic, and documented JavaScript, HTML and CSS
  • Javascript framework experience: Bootstrap, JQuery, Mithril, React.js or Angular.js
  • Linux deployment experience
  • Experience building out Microservices or RESTful APIs with Node.js
  • SQL Database experience with MySQL, Postgres, or other SQL DB
  • AWS, Google Cloud, or other Cloud Based Environments
  • Excellent communication and listening skills
  • Successfully works with other team members and also individually
  • Ability and willingness to work in an Agile development environment

The following are a plus:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science

UX / UI Designer

Full-time / Contract-to-hire

Location: Denver, CO (telecommute possible)

As a UX/UI designer you will work to discover user needs, define the scope of the problem, generate potential solutions, and then test and refine those solutions. You will conduct user and market research; generate a wide array of new ideas based on research; architect a new design experience with sketching, wireframing, and prototyping; produce high fidelity visual design concepts; and test prototypes in real world usability studies. In this role, you will have the opportunity to learn and interact with multiple tools and technologies. You will interact with top management in the company, and will interface directly with Clients when needed.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Bachelor’s degree and/or a minimum of 1-2+ years of experience.
  • Experience in empathic design and the product design process
  • User and Market research experience, such as producing personas and identifying pain points.
  • Strong graphic design foundations.
  • Ability to learn new technologies quickly.
  • Excellent time/activity management skills to balance multiple clients and multiple projects.
  • Ability to communicate effectively with multiple dynamic teams, sometimes, in different countries and timezones.

Senior Android Developer

Full-time / Contract-to-hire

Location: Denver, CO (telecommute possible)

As a Sr. Developer, you will play a lead role in defining the architecture, design, and development of DVmobile products and Client Android applications. The ideal candidate will have experience developing multiple publically available (published) Android apps, including project Lead experience. You may also direct and mentor other developers in design, process, coding standards and principles.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Bachelor's degree and/or 4 years of experience (provide portfolio)
  • Extensive Java experience (5+ years)
  • Experience with SQL, XML, JSON, AJAX, REST, HTML5, CSS, JavaScript
  • Subversion and/or GIT experience
  • ANT and/or Maven experience
  • Unix command-line skills

iOS Developer

Full-time / Contract-to-hire

As a Mobile Developer, you will play a key role in development, testing, and deployment of DVmobile products and Client iOS applications. DevOps Engineer

Full-time / Contract-to-hire

Location: Denver, CO (telecommute possible)

DevOps will build and maintain client software and cloud operating environments, along with the development team. They are equally responsible for the product like a developer, QA and product manager. On average, a DevOps spends time automating the day-to-day issues, evaluating new software stack, and finding and fixing operational gaps with the applications, operating systems, cloud infrastructure, databases and deployment processes.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Graduate/Post Graduate in Computer Science or related
  • Experience: 4 years Linux, 1-2 years DevOps
  • Develop web applications and APIs in a production environment
  • Configure, maintain and deploy to AWS and other cloud services
